A MESSAGE FROM THE MANAGER

Vinny’s notes ahead of today’s game

Hello again,

Brighton & Hove Albion are the visitors here today and we welcome Roberto De Zerbi and all his team to Turf Moor.

I can’t be in the dugout for the afternoon’s match which is a huge frustration but one which we will overcome.

Everyone is aware of the challenges we face for the final six matches of this season. We continue to give everything and fight for everything.

This game couldn’t come quickly enough for us. We didn’t get the result we wanted at Everton, but we’ve still got the positive momentum that will keep us picking up points.

We know we haven’t picked up the amount we’ve deserved this season. We’ve fought hard but not got the reward. Sometimes our fault, sometimes not.

But we keep going. Always.

That’s why we’re here today.

This club is steeped in a rich history that has seen us be at the very top and at the very bottom.

We continue to build a strong platform for Burnley that can hopefully be successful for many years to come.

Finally, today is a No Room For Racism match. Another opportunity for everyone to make a positive impact.

We can do with this through togetherness and all making an effort to understand each other.

Since the Premier League started in 1992 it has welcomed players from 123 different nations! Greatness comes from everywhere and there’s no room for racism anywhere.
